Birds

I've wanted bird feeders on the office side of the house. So I bought a nice thistle feeder from Walmart, and a big bag of thistle. The only place to hang it was about 15 feet off the ground. I have no low branches. So I hung it up there, and it fell. My fault. As I was re-hanging, I dropped the feeder and snapped it all to pieces. Some call it bad bird-karma. I can't really argue with that.

So today, Erika let me buy a couple new feeders, but they had to be the cheapest ones. And I bought a humming bird feeder. Hopefully I'll get some small birds playing near the office side of the house. Then I can disprove the bad bird-karma thing.

Ladder Safety 101

Ladder Safety
Lesson 1: Only step on the top step if you have a strong branch to hold on to.
Lesson 2: Know your surroundings. If your going to fall, fall towards the grass, not the rocks.
Lesson 3: Learn the phrase "Do as I say, not as I do", in case your son ever sees this picture.

My Next Jeep

This is a concept Jeep, but I love it. I never used the back of my Jeep

anyways. I had the backseat sitting in my parents garage most of the time I owned the Jeep. See HERE for more pictures of this new Jeep.

Me and Mobes

Mobey likes grass. So here I am feeding him a handful. Normally I just put him on the grass, but it was too buggy for both of us.

You're so mean....

I have a problem. Well, I have many, but I'll just focus on one for this post. I drink WAY WAY WAY too much soda. I could probably throw a few more WAYs in there and not do my soda situation justice. Its always diet soda, so its not a weight issue (speaking of other problem's) its more a health issue. And needless to say, with all this soda, I have quite the caffeine addiction. So I think this is good time to stop with the obscene soda consumption, seeing how I had no soda in the house when I woke up this morning. Rather than go to the store, I figured I would go off the 'juice'.
Erika stayed home from work today, to make up for her 'lost' weekend. I told her "I've stopped drinking soda." She just looks at me, groans and says "You're so mean when you stop drinking soda.".

Yup, I have a problem.

Drew's First Blankie

Its never too early to start with the Jeep stuff. I'm already eyeing a "Jeep" stroller. Here is an awesome blanket my friend made for Drew. He's going to love it!!

Mo and Jo

Here is Mobes and Jojo watching out the front door. Probably watching for this "Drew" character they've been hearing about.

The Dark Side of Pregnancy

Drew is breech. We think. Depends who you ask. Erika thinks he feels in the right position based on the kicks and hiccups ect, the doula who taught our class today is surprised because Erika is riding so low, the clinical exams done by Drs all think Drew was in the correct position, but the ultra sound tells us differently. At 35 weeks, he is running out of time to turn on his own. Bad Drew! One thing that we've been told that works is to put an ice pack near the head of the baby, basically on the fundus. He won't like it, so he'll turn away from it. Ideally we would prefer not to mess with the poor child in the womb, but he's leaving us no choice.
Anyways, here is Erika in the "child pose" taught to us by Nina. It is suppose to help position the baby. She has an ice pack (actually a bag of frozen peppers) on the top of her belly and a heating pad toward the belly. Go toward the heat Drew!!!

One in a million shot...

Ok, not really. But anyone who knows Erika, and her hosta fetish, knows why this is bad. And for those curious, it was a Night Before Christmas.
